Organic vegetable production

Greenhouses are built by means of Dutch technology, one of the advantages of which is the possibility of phased commissioning of the greenhouses.

Currently, the first phase of the greenhouse complex has been commissioned. This is 20,51 ha of year-round greenhouses. 12 765 tonnes per annum - output of existing facilities.

347 jobs have already been created.

The expansion of the greenhouse complex “Voronezhskii” is already planned.
The area of the 2nd phase of the greenhouse complex will be 33,86 ha.

The investment budget of the second phase of the project is 10,067 RUB bn.

Additionally, 528 jobs will be created, and the volume of production will be 21,46 thous. tonnes of vegetables annually.

The completion of the greenhouse complex construction (commissioning of the 2rd phase) is scheduled for the Q4  2021.

The area of the 3d phase of the greenhouse complex - 6,1 ha., the volume of production - 4,1 thous. tonnes of vegetables annually.

Greenhouses will be intended for tomato production.

The volume of investments for the implementation of the final phase of the project will be 3,196 RUB bn.

With the commissioning of the third phase, additional 119 jobs will be created.

TK «Voronezhskii» is a modern agricultural enterprise specializing in tomato production

In 2020, the greenhouse complex started the production of fresh vegetables, the first phase was commissioned, the area of the first phase is 20,51 hectares of high-tech greenhouses. The basis of the operational program of the greenhouse complex “Voronezhskii” is medium-fruited red tomato of two varieties: Merlice and Maxeza. These varieties were developed by leading European crop breeders specifically for cultivation in greenhouses with supplementary lighting. Distinctive characteristics of these varieties are: high fruit density, resistance to dehiscence and storability. During the year, the company will supply 12,765 thousand tonnes of fresh tomatoes to the Russian market.

With the commissioning of the first phase of the greenhouse complex, the region received not only delicious fresh vegetables from a local producer, but also additional employment opportunities. The company employs more than 300 people. The management personnel and technical staff of specialists have field-specific university degree and relevant work experience.

Products grown at the enterprise will be delivered to regional retail chains of the Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Tambov regions. Contracts for the sales of products have been concluded with leading Russian federal retail chains – “X5 Retail Group”, “METRO cash and carry” and “Okay”.

Our plans
The expansion of the greenhouse complex “Voronezhskii” is already planned. with phased construction and commissioning of the 2nd and 3rd phases:

Commissioning date - Q4 2022.

Our technology

The greenhouse complex “Voronezhskii” is designed taking into account the most relevant trends in the agricultural industry.

All production processes are fully automated and integrated into a single climate system, which ensures high production efficiency and consistent high product quality.

Environmental friendliness and attitude of care towards the environment are the core values of the enterprise. These were taken into account when choosing technical solutions from the very start.

  • Biological methods of plant protection. Entomophagous insects fight against potential pests in the greenhouses of the GC “Voronezhskii”. Their breeding, contamination, population control is a tremendous job. However, these particular insects help us to cultivate environmentally friendly vegetables without use of chemicals.
  • Greenhouse crops cultivation requires a large amount of water. But not in our situation. The company introduced a recycling water system. All water used for plants irrigation is collected, treated and reused. We consume up to 10 times! less water than similar greenhouse complexes.
  • The constructional engineering technology by means of which our greenhouses are built (the so-called "Dutch" technology) assumes that the greenhouses structure itself is an element of the energy efficiency of our enterprise. This constructional engineering does good work so far as is concerned a high level of technological processes automation significant for creation/maintenance of specified microclimate parameters. In fact, the elements of the greenhouse themselves are already an integral part of the climate control system. For example, the windows of the greenhouse open at the required angle by the “order” of the head computer, and the quantity of light and heat received by the plants through the glass roof is regulated by the screening system, as well controlled by the computer.

Due to the high construction height (6 m) and the presence of ventilation frames, the Dutch greenhouse contributes to better ventilation. Even with incomplete transom window opening, this structure is much better ventilated than a lower structure with fully opened frames.

Major equipment suppliers
In the design and construction of the greenhouse complex, we made a bid for technological effectiveness. As the basic equipment, the best greenhouse engineering solutions were adopted: Priva automated control system (Netherlands), Hortilux supplementary lighting fixtures (Netherlands), Zantingh burners and automated control system for burner equipment (Netherlands), etc. Suppliers are highly specialized European and Russian companies with considerable experience in implementing such projects. Globalagro B.V. and Agricultural Projects International FZE (Netherlands) supply engineering systems and equipment. The Russian producer - Lipetsk factory of greenhouse structures, is responsible for the supply of components for the construction of greenhouse blocks. The general contractor for the execution of construction work is a company specializing specifically in the construction of agricultural facilities, “Agrostroipodriad”, LLC.

An essential component of the new greenhouse complex is its own Power Center. The implementation of its construction and commissioning is carried out by “Max Motors” company.
